LDTTWC Day 2: It's Vintage Darling!

It's the second day of the Time Warp Challenge, created by Lindsey, & on this day we draw our inspiration from a popular look from the past. I chose the corset. Not only is it a popular look from the past, it's also still  extremely popular today. I had been dying to try a corset design for a while now, so this is my first attempt ever. Since there are so many different styles & color choices, it was really hard deciding on just one, but I drew my inspiration from robinmoses who always turns out such beautiful designs & is a true inspiration to me.

  1. I'm so glad that this is only a popular look now, not the actual wear!!! I don't know how those ladies were able to walk around not being able to breathe!!!
    Great mani!!! :))

    1. lol! Yeah, looks gorgeous but feels like hell? I would not be able to wear them on a daily basis, but I do feel ravishing when I do & my Hubby can't speak which makes it extra fantastic! Takes a lot to shut him up, lol! Glad you like the mani, thank you!

  6. Pretty! I really like how you started the corset lower down on the nail, it looks even more coquettish!

    1. Thanks, although I can't take the credit for the particular placing of the corset since I was inspired by another nail artist. But I agree, I think it was the right choice.

  7. Hey! I just wanted to let you know that for the Day 8 Time Warp Challenge, I decided to recreate your design because these are absolutely gorgeous. I do not have a blog or I would have linked to you, but just wanted to let you know you have a fan. Mine did not come out nearly as good as yours, but they were fun. Thanks so much for inspiring! It's been fun seeing what you come up with for the challenge.
