Where in the World Challenge: Singapore

#17 Singapore: One of the largest bird parks is in Singapore, Jurong Bird Park, so my manicure today is inspired by one of my favorite birds...PEACOCKS!

I used W7 Metallic Venus, which is one in a beautiful collection of duo-chrome polishes, the color changes from purple to blue in different lighting, very pretty & perfect for a peacock mani. As usual, acrylic paints were used for the detail.

Fall colors to be thankful for!

Just a simple post with a simple combination of fall colors that make me smile, so I put them in a row. Starting with W7 Metallic Saturn, then OPI Every Month is Oktoberfest & finishing off with W7 Metallic Saturn. I took lots of pictures because it was kinda hard to capture the colors just right, so you will see some  indoor lighting, outdoor & direct sunlight. These colors are very rich & make my fingers look expensive, hehe :-)...ENJOY!!!

Gold Filigree

I've been pulling out some of my old W7 Metallic set colors this fall & enjoying putting just the color with no design. But after wearing a plain color for about 4 days, I'm sure the other nail artists can relate, I get bored! Anyhow, here I have the very beautiful W7 Metallic Jupiter by itself, it's a gorgeous almost black duo toned with purple & teal glimmer. I also used this on my friend Yesi's design.

Then after getting bored I used a gold acrylic paint & a fine art brush to do a simple filigree design:

Spring Daisies!

I am reminded of a quote I read:

"Flowers are the sweetest things God ever made, and forgot to put a soul into."

Feeling in the mood to brighten up a rainy day I decided to make my own personal little bouquet of flowers. I picked Daisies, well I didn't actually pick them of course just a matter of speech, they always did seem to make me smile!

Using the color I just got in a new W7 Metallic collection called Venus as my base, I then used acrylic paint in white, baby blue, yellow, orange & red to paint my daisies.

Now I know these aren't the real thing, but try not to smile!
